Dear Colleagues in IDEA,

This question regards  AG 2991 libro 3 cc. 51v–53r. Can anyone explain the meaning of the very first word on c.53r: selaro? Many thanks for your assistance!

Dear Deanna,

I think it might be: “primo solaro” (“solaro” = “solaio”), therefore the expression probably means: ‘first floor’. Useful examples in Grande dizionario della lingua italiana by S. Battaglia, s.v. solaio.
